Coverage Area
Drexel EMS operates within the same coverage area as the Drexel Police and Public Safety. This area runs from 30th to 36th Street and from Spring Garden Street to Chestnut Street. Crews operate out of our base station/office located at North Residence Hall at 3200 Race St, Philadelphia PA, 19104.
Dispatching
Drexel EMS operates on the Public Safety channels and is dispatched by the Drexel University Public Safety.
Our Crew
Drexel EMS is staffed with PA and Nationally Registered EMTs. Drexel EMS currently offers a Quick Response Service (QRS) at the BLS level through an emergency vehicle and a fleet of 4 bikes.
We are currently pursuing an ambulance acquisition and a second QRS vehicle to better cover the needs of campus!

Response
Drexel EMS responds to incidents by way of a QRS vehicle or bike squad. Current response times from time of dispatch to time at patient average approximately three minutes.
